    Oh yes… I’d agree with The Godfather and I started reading Life of Pi after seeing the film, but couldn’t get through it as it simply didn’t have the beauty and drama of the film – which, as you say, is breathtakingly beautiful. I’d add another one – The Horse Whisperer. The ending of the book is just plain stupid, whereas the film gives the story the ending the book should have had.

  3. Sleepy Hollow. Ichabod’s just such a whiny little thing in the original story, so when Tim Burton up and turns this little urban legend-style situation into a big mystery of murder and mayhem, I’m in. 🙂
